Her name is Joyce. You’ve probably heard of her before. She’s been around Sseko for about 2 years now, and she is a staple figure around the workshop. Joyce was honored in January for having perfect attendance for THE ENTIRE YEAR. It’s July now, and her perfect attendance run continues!
Joyce works on the finishing (sanding) machine which ensures that your sandals have perfectly smooth edges. An important and demanding job! She has become an expert shoe-finisher and leads the team with high production numbers at all assembly line stations. Joyce is the class clown, making snarky comments at every opportunity and bringing laughter and joy to the team. We are proud of her for her impeccable work ethic, dedication to quality production, and light hearted spirit.
I can’t imagine a Sseko without Joyce, and for all of the above reasons, she was selected to be Sseko Designs May 2012 Employee of the Month!
