INTERNS!!
The Summer 2012 Interns have arrived! They are joining us from all over the country. Texas! Los Angeles! San Diego! New Hampshire! And they all made their way to God’s Country, er, the Northwest for a summer of challenge, fun and popcorn. This summer is going to rule.
A little snippet about the team:
Davey is our Visual Design intern. She is a senior at Dartmouth College who likes taking quasi-artsy photos, designing beautiful retail window displays for Sseko, being unpredictable, leading the other interns on the Oregon Trail, making dynamite popcorn at the Sseko office with Holly, and exfoliating with mod podge.
Holly is the Social Development intern. She is 22 years old and a recent grad from Baylor University. Aside from taking long walks on the beach and promoting world peace, Holly enjoys discovering new music, youtubing (yes, it’s a verb), and being in the sunshine, all while surviving the Oregon Trail. In the office, she has become a premiere popcorn-making expert with the assistance of Davey. Asking questions and pinning charts, graphs, and videos are her jam.
Brooke is the PR/Marketing intern for Sseko Designs and a senior at University of San Diego. Brooke has questionable music taste, bakes delicious pretzel/peanut butter/chocolate chip cookies for the office, and loves to run errands for the head honchos at Sseko while trying desperately not to get lost in her home town, Portland. Outside the office Brooke loves to travel, hike, shop, craft and EAT!
Mervett is the social media intern for Sseko Designs. She’s 20 (21 in August) and a rising senior at Tufts University (yikes!) studying Psychology and Media Studies. She spends all day at the office browsing Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest – for internship-related purposes, of course! As such, she’s the internet geek of the intern group by default.
