Every scarf purchase educates & empowers women in Africa
Sseko scarves are handwoven in Ethiopia by artisans who earn a fair wage and work in a beautiful and dignified work environment. Our scarves are made with locally produced Eri silk and Ethiopian cotton. All of our scarves are handwoven on traditional looms and are providing economic opportunity, with a specific emphasis on employing Ethiopian women and preserving and promoting indigenous trades and skills.
In addition to generating revenue that helps further our mission to educate and empower women in Uganda, every exquisitely crafted Sseko product is helping to end the cycle of poverty by creating dignified jobs and sustainable economic opportunity across Africa.
