Ethical footwear made in East Africa
The Sseko Nomad Booties are crafted from Ethiopian sheepskin sourced from local Ethiopian farmers. These shoes are made at one of the oldest Ethiopian-owned shoe factories in the country. In addition to providing jobs and contrubuting to the economic development of the region, 10% of the profits of these shoes will go directly towards the Sseko Scholarship Fund. This fund enables bright young women in East Africa to continue their university degrees and become leaders in their communites.

Sandals (excluding Crossover Slide): Available in standard American whole sizes. If you are in between sizes and have an average or narrow foot, we recommend that you size down. However, if you are in between sizes and have a wide foot, we recommend you size up.
Crossover Slides: Available in standard American whole sizes. These sandals run narrow, so in most cases we recommend sizing up. (e.g. If you have an average or wider foot and usually wear a size 7, we recommend that you size up to a size 8.) If you have a narrower foot, they are true to size.
Loafers: Run slightly large. Size down one half size if your feet run narrow.
Booties & Oxfords: True to size. To wear booties with socks, size up one half size.
Ballet Flats: True to size. If in between sizes, and wide feet, size up half size. If in between sizes, and narrow feet, size down half size.
