Cork Fabric

Cork Fabric is harvested from the cork oak tree, and ours comes from sustainable forests with strict harvesting regulations to protect this resource and regulate its quality.

The Cork Oak is the only tree that benefits from the removal of its bark, which regenerates every 8-10 years. Once harvested, the tree absorbs about 5 times the CO2, making harvesting cork bark important in reducing greenhouse gasses.  

Our cork fabrics are PETA-approved vegan, sourced from Portugal and we love how durable and soft they are.

Vegan Leather

Our 100% vegan leather is polyurethane-based, avoiding the harmful effects of the animal leather industry and toxic plastic-based PVC leather.

Polyurethane-based leather is made by coating natural fabrics like cotton or polyester, then treating it to look like real leather. This type of vegan leather is more soft, flexible, and breathable than vinyl-based leather.

Linen

Linen is a natural plant-based fiber that will biodegrade after it is discarded making it an eco-friendly option. Linen is made using the entire flax plant and doesn’t require the use of pesticides. 

Our natural linen lining fabrics are sourced from a family-owned United States supplier that has been in business for nearly 100 years.

Organic Cotton

To be considered 100% GOTS-certified organic, our cotton has to go through a very strict approval process.

The certifier has approved every step in the process from the farming of cotton to the finished goods. The process covers how the cotton is grown, how the cotton is transported, how it is milled, how it is bleached, the ink used to print, and notably, our mill must meet a standard of fair working conditions. At the end of the process, a certificate is provided to ensure that all of these standards have been met and approved.

This product will arrive to you in a separate package shipped directly from our partners at Carry Courage. Carry Courage wants you to shop with confidence, which is why we handle returns on a case-by case basis. We stand behind our products, and we’ll always do our best to take care of you. We believe that when we treat our customers with fairness and gratitude, they will show us the same. 

Returns

There are no time limits for returns or exchanges. Although we will do our best to take care of you, there will be times when we will not be able to issue a refund. If the item has been used, a refund or exchange will be less likely, unless there is a manufacturing defect. Your return may be processed as a gift card to carrycourage.com for the value of the product. 

For gifts purchased by someone other than you, we are happy to offer an exchange for a different item, provided we are able to track the original purchase by name or order number.

Repairs

If your bag requires some TLC, let us help! We won’t charge you for repairing any part of your Carry Courage bag. All we ask is that you cover the shipping to us. We’ll fix it up, good as new, and send it back. There are no time limits for our repair policy.
