At LAUDE the Label, we offer a slower and more conscious approach to alleviate the impact of the convention industry has on climate change and cycles of poverty.

Our core pillars of impact are:

Artisans
Luz Saldana, one of the artisans behind our sustainable knitwear collection, shares how knitting is more than a job—it’s a path toward her community’s goals.
“We started out as workers so that later we could open our own workshop. We were growing and learning step by step, learning new techniques from each of our workers. Now, we are the second generation who is involved in the whole process.
We aren’t just making a basic knitted garment. With every design, we make art so each design becomes a challenge that we always try to successfully bring to life. In this way, work is generated for a whole community of people.
Our work helps us to improve ourselves and learn something new and necessary every day to grow as a workshop and as a company. That includes continuous improvements in the production process, always in a responsible way that maintains the best standards. We always want to do our best.
I would like those who purchase our work to know that behind each piece is not only one person but many, who were able to achieve or move forward to reach their goals through knitting.
By respecting the principles of fair trade, we all benefit, not just one of the chains. This includes the environment because the garments, we make are not fast fashion.”
